A homemade pan-fried Tuna Potstickers are a flavor-packed and savory potsticker recipe. They make an easy freezer-friendly appetizer, and now there’s no need to order takeout and just make your own.
I’ve been eating out a lot and sorta break my “dining-in on weekdays” unwritten rules. Friends have been coming over these past few months so I have no better excuse than spend time with them outside the home. Now that my schedule is quite back to regular, I crave nothing but comfort homemade food. In this case…potstickers, dumplings, or gyoza.
When I think of potstickers, I think of an appetizer that quickly becomes a meal after you’ve eaten so many of them. Pork is of course an old-time favorite, but when I’m in the mood for something different and meatless; and that’s how tuna pop in mind. Yes! Tuna potstickers!
So, pescatarian, you should give this a try and I’m sure you’ll fall in love with this. I’m using Safe Catch tuna as my main ingredient; then add some additional ingredients such as napa cabbage, green onion, and a few more items which you can find at your nearby grocery store. I’m sure by now you probably know that Safe Catch tuna is my favorite. They recently launched Elite tuna with 6 premium spice blends to create a flavorful, one-of-a-kind tuna, with no precook processing; and I’m using one of them for this recipe. So, thanks to Safe Catch, these tuna potstickers are so easy to make and require minimal cooking.
I always think making potstickers is an art. Like origami or wrapping presents, there are so many ways to make potstickers look really nice and appetizing.
Potstickers can be served as an appetizer or main dishes, or even for snacking. Savory snacking or post-dinner snack option. Or in my case, I sometimes steal a bite or two for breakfast on the road. So delicious and it’s hard to eat just one.
I don’t make potstickers often but when I do I always love it! And these tuna potstickers were no exception! Talking about 30 minutes meal and these tuna potstickers is pretty much a done deal.
