Durian Burnt Cheesecake - Super Easy!

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 150- gram durian flesh
  • 2 medium-size eggs
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream

Instructions

Oven Cheesecake

  • Preheat the oven to 400F. Line a 6 inch round pan with parchment paper on the bottom and side of the pan. 
  • In a bowl, whisk cream cheese and sugar over medium speed.
  • Add in durian and eggs. Continue whisking at low speed.
  • Add the whipped cream while the mixer is at low speed. Once smooth, sift in the flour and fold to combine. Pour the cake batter into the pan. 
  • Bake in the oven for 60 minutes, or until deep brown golden but still jiggly in the center. Turn on the broiler and broil for 1-2 minutes or until the cheesecake is burnt enough.

Air-fryer Cheesecake

  • Preheat the air fryer at 400F for 5 minutes. 
  • Line a 6 inch round pan with parchment paper on the bottom and side of the pan. 
  • In a bowl, whisk cream cheese and sugar over medium speed.
  • Add in durian and eggs. Continue whisking at low speed.
  • Add the whipped cream while the mixer is at low speed. Once smooth, sift in the flour and fold to combine. Pour the cake batter into the pan. 
  • Bake in an air fryer for 10 minutes, then lower the temperature to 350F and continue baking for 12-15 minutes.
