Lilikoi Butter (Passion Fruit Butter)

This refreshing lilikoi butter (passion fruit butter) reminds me of Hawaii. It’s sweet yet tart and creamy. Bring a taste of aloha to your table or pair this butter with egg waffles or scones!

  • 1 lilikoi fruit or passion fruit halved and scoop the seeds and juice
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 medium egg yolks or 1 large egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar to taste


  • Combine all ingredients in a pot and stir over low heat until it begins to curd, for about 7 minutes.
