  • 1 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 cayenne pepper
  • 5 Thai red chilies
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon lime juice or vinegar
  • 2 cups hot water


  • Make a paste by grinding the peanut butter, garlic, and chilies in a food processor. Add salt, sugar, lime, and hot water. Adjust the seasoning and add more water if the sauce is too thick.
