Mocha Oatmeal with Cold Brew

Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup cold brew coffee or hot coffee
  • 1 tablespoon hot cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup to taste
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

Mocha overnight oats

  • Mix all ingredients in a jar until combined. Let it rest overnight or for at least 4 hours

Stove-top mocha oats

  • Combine oats, milk, coffee, hot cocoa, salt, and maple syrup in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low
  • Simmer uncovered for 3 to 5 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly
