Ingredients

  • 50 grams shallot thinly sliced
  • 5 fresh red Thai chilies stemmed, thinly sliced
  • 3 lemongrass, inner white part only thinly sliced
  • 5 lime leaves thinly sliced
  • Juices from 2 limes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon shrimp paste optional

Instructions

  • Heat the oil until it sizzles. Then, mix it with the rest of the ingredients. Stir together using a spoon (or mix by hand) until well combined and adjust the seasonings
