Rujak Cireng or Fried Tapioca Flour
This crispy and delicious rujak cireng or fried tapioca flour is a popular Indonesian street food snack made with tapioca flour and served with rujak sauce. They freeze well and you can fry them in an air fryer. Moreover, they're a crowd pleaser!

Cireng

cups tapioca flour

garlic
microplaned

green onions
thinly sliced

chicken seasoning powder
Salt

Rujak

tamarind paste

Instructions
Cireng
Mix garlic, green onion, tapioca flour, salt, chicken seasoning, and water. Cook over medium heat and keeps stirring until it gets thickened
Make cireng in a round shape using your hands
Heat the oil over medium heat, then fry cireng until they turn nice and golden
Rujak
To make the sauce: grind all the ingredients with pestle and mortar. Add water if necessary to thin the sauce
