In this easy recipe, mushrooms are sautéed in garlic butter with a hint of herbs and make an easy, healthy side dish that you’ll want to make with every single meal.
1/2poundfresh mushroomshalved (cremini, oyster, shiitake, white button, or a mix)
2whole sprigs fresh thyme or rosemary
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1tablespoonfreshly chopped parsleyfor garnish
Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
Stir in the mushrooms and thyme, and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, until mushrooms are browned and tender. Season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with parsley to garnish. Discard herb sprigs. Serve immediately.
