Martabak Telor (Martabak Mesir)

Ingredients

  • ½ pound ground beef
  • 1 onion diced
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 green onion sliced
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Pepper
  • Water
  • Egg roll wrapper

Instructions

  • Thaw the wrapper so they are flexible enough to handle
  • Saute the onion for 3-5 minutes. Add ground beef, curry powder, salt, sugar, and pepper. Cook until the meat is cooked through. Let it cool
  • Whisk the eggs and green onion. Add ground beef to the mix
  • Lay 1 wrapper. Add about 1-2 tablespoons of beef to the center of the wrapper. Wet all sides of the wrapper with water and fold the wrapper like folding an envelope
  • Heat up the oil (make sure it's not too hot) and fry the martabak until golden brown on both sides
