Strawberry Lychee Panna Cotta

Creamy and sweet, this Strawberry Lychee Panna Cotta is an easy dessert that you can make ahead, refrigerate, then serve when you’re ready for a dessert.

Ingredients

Strawberry Panna Cotta

  • 1 package unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups half-n-half
  • 2 cups chopped strawberry
  • 1 tablespoon strawberry syrup optional

Lychee Panna Cotta

  • 1 package unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups half-n-half
  • 4 roughly chopped lychee

Instructions

Strawberry Layer

  • In a medium saucepan, combine 1 package of gelatin and 1 cup cream. Heat on low to medium until just boiling, set aside.
  • Gradually add in the rest of strawberry panna cotta ingredients. Strain and divide strawberry mixture (liquid) into 8-10 cups/moulds, about half fill of each cup. Rest cups on a 45 degree angle so the panna cotta set at an angle (use a large muffin pans).
  • Let it cool and set in the fridge for 4 hours.

Lychee Layer

  • In a medium saucepan, combine 1 package of gelatin and 1 cup cream. Heat on low to medium until just boiling, set aside.
  • Gradually add in the rest of lychee panna cotta ingredients. Strain and pour mixture over the half filled cups. Let it cool and allow to set in fridge for at least 6 hours before serving it.
