Ingredients

  • 8 ounces whipped cream cheese
  • 3 ounces white crab meat drained and flaked or 3 imitation crabs, finely diced
  • 3 green onions sliced (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Mix the filling: Stir together whipped cream cheese (or blended cottage cheese), crab meat, and green onions.
  • Fill & fold: Spoon 1–2 teaspoons of filling into the center of each wonton wrapper. Wet the edges with water, then fold and press to seal.

How to Make Crab Rangoon (3 Ways to Cook!)

  • Option 1: Deep Fry
    Heat oil to 375°F.
    Fry in small batches for 15–20 seconds or until golden brown.
    Drain on paper towels.
  • Option 2: Bake
    Preheat oven to 350°F.
    Spray mini muffin tin with cooking spray and place filled wrappers in each cup.
    Bake for 15–18 minutes until crispy and golden.
  • Option 3: Air Fry (Best of Both Worlds!)
    Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
    Lightly spray filled rangoons with oil and place in a single layer.
    Air fry for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
    Cool slightly before serving (filling will be hot!).
