3-Ingredient No Churn Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe. Quick and Easy Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe with 3 ingredients, no-churn and no ice cream maker needed! It’s a super easy recipe, super creamy, and chocolatey.
Easy ice cream recipe with condensed milk. Have you tried it yet? Let me tell you how it started.
Easy chocolate ice cream with condensed milk. Have you tried it yet? Let me tell you how it started. The weather has been super warm in the Bay Area. I’m talking about 72°F at 9.30pm. So what’s the best thing to enjoy when the weather is hot? Ice cream it is! And unlike any other ice cream recipes I’ve shared, this one is super easy, super creamy, and no-churn needed.
Alright, gather round.
Let me tell you the tale of the no-churn, budget-friendly, super creamy, uber chocolatey, quick & easy chocolate ice cream. And best of all, it only takes 3 ingredients, or 4 if you count salt.
But what I really need you to know about this:
- super creamy and rich in flavor
- easy to make homemade ice cream
- skip you ice cream maker/ ice cream machine for other recipes
- a perfect summer treat
- you can add in your favorite ingredients and make a new flavor. Add chocolate chips for a double chocolate flavor or cherry for chocolate cherry ice cream.
- and the best part…no-churn ice cream
The importance of quality ingredients here is obviously high, considering that there aren’t many, to begin with. So, always start with a good quality of the dark cocoa powder.
Which cocoa powder is best for ice cream?
I like using Dutch-process cocoa powder when it comes to making ice cream (or baking), as it has a darker, richer color and less acid.
What can I use instead of cocoa powder?
If you’re in a pinch, hot cocoa mix is your best buddy; however, you need to compensate for both the sugar and the fat content in it. So, be sure to reduce the sweetened condensed milk amount in the recipe.
How to make no-churn ice cream?
This is how you make it in literally one picture. Mix and freeze. Whisk the cocoa powder and condensed milk in a large bowl. Pour in heavy cream and use a hand mixer to mix it over medium-high speed until stiff peaks form. Don’t forget to add a pinch of salt, mix with a rubber spatula. Pour into a loaf pan, spreading evenly, and freeze it in the freezer. You can also add vanilla extract to the mixture.
Okay, seriously, whoa…could there be anything better than this 3 ingredients chocolate ice cream?
