It’s true that I run on coffee these days…and chocolate. Or combine both into a tiramisu for breakfast. But today, I will show you my shortcut recipe when I want something sweet without putting in too much effort, and can be done faster than making Vietnamese instant coffee. Vietnamese cold brew coffee. A duet of cold brew and condensed milk that is very popular in Vietnamese coffee recipes.
What is Vietnamese coffee (Cafe Sua Da)
Cafe Sua Da is a coffee drink made from brewing Vietnamese medium-ground dark roast coffee in a phin coffee filter. A phin is a traditional coffee filter to make a single cup serving of coffee and brews incredibly slowly; however, it makes a stronger, bolder, and thicker coffee. The coffee is then mixed in condensed milk and with/without ice. This condensed milk will create a perfectly balanced coffee and a noticeably different aroma than any other coffee.
