The ingredients
The ingredients in green goddess salad dressing can vary but always includes a creamy base, lemons, and lots of fresh green herbs. Here’s a list of ingredients I use (scroll below to the printable recipe card for details and measurements):
- Greek yogurt to make the salad creamy and light. If you prefer something thicker, use a combination of mayonnaise and sour cream
- Olive oil to thin out the salad dressing
- Apple cider vinegar, lemon juice to bring out the tanginess flavor
- Fresh basil, parsley, green onion. Always use fresh herbs! Dried herbs really won’t cut it in this recipe
