Eggs for breakfast is a routine in our family. It is something that we enjoy, including our toddler. However, cooking eggs can take some time and requires you to stand by the stove. This air fryer method cooks eggs faster, fuss-free, and the eggs peel perfectly.

Variations
Here’s the fun part! This air-fryer boiled eggs method makes hard-boiled eggs; however, some people prefer a softer yolk. In that case, you will need to reduce the cooking time.
- Soft boiled – 6-8 minutes
- Medium boiled – 9-10 minutes
- Hard boiled – 15-16 minutes
Kitchen tips
- An ice bath is one of the best ways to get a clean peel with a boiled egg since the air fryer doesn’t use water
- I used a 6-quart air fryer. If you have a smaller one, just use as many eggs as you can that will fit in one layer. Do not change the temperature or time
- Store bought eggs peel much easier and cleaner than fresh farm eggs. I have yet to find something that truly works with fresh farm eggs
- The eggs will be very hot when coming out of the air fryer. I tend to let them sit in the air fryer basket for a couple of minutes before handling them. You can also use tongs if you want to get them in the ice bath sooner
Storing
You can store these hard-boiled eggs, peeled or unpeeled, in a closed container in the refrigerator for about 1 week.
