What is the best part of a cupcake? The cake or the frosting?
First of all, who doesn’t love cupcakes? They are basically cakes for any occasion. So if I have to decide between the cake or the frosting, it feels like splitting peanut butter and jam.
What frosting flavors pair well with vanilla cupcakes?
You name it. I like mine with almost everything – vanilla over vanilla, dark chocolate cocoa powder, strawberry, cookies-n-cream, or a simple frosting with good vanilla extract. Ahhh endless possibilities. And if you need some inspiration, you should check out some cupcake ideas here:

This cow cupcake tutorial begins with your favorite cupcakes. You could make these animal cupcakes from scratch using muffin cups, or simply pick up a package, prebaked cake batter, at your local bakery. The true magic comes with only a few steps and some basic decorating supplies, such as piping bags and food coloring. While these look like little works of art, they are not complicated and even a novice decorator can make them!
The icing is not at all difficult to make, but it is as tasty as any icing from a bakery. It is sweet and creamy and best of all, it is easy to work with! Even the ears are a breeze, you will use a leaf tip to achieve this effect, and it is an adorable touch to add.
